Vibrant reblooming colors elevate your garden

This stunning shrub brings a burst of vivid color to your landscape with its deeply pigmented flowers. Depending your soil’s pH, pink, purple, or blue mophead blooms generously pop up and down the stems, creating a show-stopping visual all season long. This reliable rebloomer produces flowers from late spring through fall, ensuring your garden remains colorful and inviting. As the seasons change, you’ll appreciate the dark glossy green foliage that transforms to a rich burgundy in autumn, adding another layer of visual interest.

In addition to its eye-catching appearance, this shrub is incredibly easy to care for, making it an excellent choice for gardeners of any experience level. It’s mounding habit means stems won’t flop, keeping a tidy appearance whether planted along a border, in a mixed flower bed, or in a container. Adding this shrub to your garden not only enhances its beauty but also contributes to a lively, welcoming environment.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a spot with well-drained soil. In warm climates, plant in morning sun and afternoon shade; cold climates can plant in full sun. Dig a hole that is twice as wide as the root ball but no deeper. Place the shrub in the hole, making sure the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil, then backfill, spread a layer of mulch, and water thoroughly.

2. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during the first growing season as the plant establishes its roots. Once established, water regularly, as hydrangeas appreciate moist soil and are not drought tolerant.

3. Pruning: Let’s Dance Loveable Hydrangea blooms on both old and new wood. Pruning is not recommended as it impacts flowering, though dead or diseased wood can be removed at any time. If shaping is desired, prune in late winter or early spring just as the plant begins to break dormancy; look for swelling green leaf buds to guide your cuts. After blooming, remove spent flowers by following the stem down to the first set of leaves and cutting ¼ inch above them.

4. Fertilizing: Fertilize with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to support vigorous growth and blooming. Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can negatively impact flower production.
