Orchid color from spring through fall

Proven Winners® Impatiens SunPatiens® Compact Orchid produces colorful orchid-pink flowers above lush green foliage. Its tidy, mounded habit works well in containers, garden beds, borders, and mass plantings without overwhelming nearby plants.

Long blooming from spring until frost, it provides dependable fall interest while many other annuals begin to fade. This heat-tolerant plant performs in sun or partial shade and needs no deadheading, making it an easy way to add lasting color to the landscape.

About Proven Winners®: Proven Winners® ColorChoice Shrubs offers flowering shrubs, evergreens, and trees that have been tested for eight to ten years to ensure they outperform conventional varieties. That means bigger flowers, more colorful foliage, reblooming, disease resistance, new habits, or anything that makes them more beautiful and easier to grow in your landscape or garden.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a location in sun or shade with moist, well-drained soil. Space plants 12–18 inches apart to allow for airflow and a full, mounded shape. Wait until the danger of frost has passed before planting outdoors.

2. Watering: Water thoroughly after planting and whenever the top inch of soil feels dry. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Containers and plants in full sun may need more frequent watering during hot weather.

3. Pruning: Deadheading is not necessary. If needed, lightly trim long or uneven stems to maintain a compact shape and encourage fuller growth.

4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer at planting, following label directions. For container plants, supplement with a water-soluble fertilizer every few weeks during active growth.
