Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a location with full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. Space plants far enough apart to allow airflow and room for their mounded growth. Wait until the danger of frost has passed before planting outdoors.
2. Watering: Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil consistently moist while roots establish. Once established, water when the top inch of soil begins to dry. Containers may need more frequent watering during hot weather.
3. Pruning: Deadheading is not necessary for continuous bloom. If growth becomes uneven or leggy, lightly trim the stems to encourage a fuller, more compact shape.
4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer at planting. For container-grown plants, supplement with a water-soluble fertilizer every few weeks according to label directions.
