Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a location with full to part sun to ensure the best color and growth. Dig a hole that is twice the width of the root ball, and make sure to place the plant at the same depth it was growing in its container. Backfill with soil and spread a 3” layer of mulch three feet around the plant.
2. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist during establishment, watering every few days or when the top 1–2” of soil dry out. Once established, water deeply once a week, and ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
3. Pruning: Prune immediately after flowering in spring to remove dead, diseased, or crossing wood as needed.
4. Fertilizing: Feed in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer to support healthy growth and vibrant foliage throughout the growing season.
