Heart-shaped harvests for small spaces

This compact cherry tomato is sized for containers, hanging baskets, and small gardens. Its tidy, bushy habit should not require staking, making it an easy fit for patios, balconies, and other limited spaces.

Clusters of 14 to 18 beautiful, heart-shaped red tomatoes provide a generous harvest without taking over the garden. The fruits add fresh flavor and an appealing shape to salads, snacks, and summer dishes.

About Proven Winners®: Proven Winners® ColorChoice Shrubs offers flowering shrubs, evergreens, and trees that have been tested for eight to ten years to ensure they outperform conventional varieties. That means bigger flowers, more colorful foliage, reblooming, disease resistance, new habits, or anything that makes them more beautiful and easier to grow in your landscape or garden.

Pollination Info

Proven Winners® Harvest Goodhearted® Red Dwarf Cherry Tomato Bush Pollination

Proven Winners® Harvest Goodhearted® Red Dwarf Cherry Tomato Bushs are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional Proven Winners® Harvest Goodhearted® Red Dwarf Cherry Tomato Bush will drastically increase the size of your crop.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Plant outdoors after the danger of frost has passed in a location receiving at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sun. Use rich, well-drained soil or a quality container mix, and choose a container or hanging basket with drainage holes.

2. Watering: Water deeply whenever the top inch of soil feels dry. Container-grown tomatoes may need daily watering during hot weather. Keep moisture consistent and direct water toward the soil rather than the leaves.

3. Pruning: Little pruning is needed. Remove yellow or damaged leaves and avoid heavy pruning, which can reduce the harvest. Although staking is generally unnecessary, support heavily loaded branches if needed.

4. Fertilizing: Feed regularly with a fertilizer formulated for tomatoes or vegetables, following label directions. Avoid excessive nitrogen, which encourages leafy growth at the expense of fruit.
