A bright orange harvest with a true trailing habit
This dwarf cherry tomato gets off to a quick start in spring and soon develops a true trailing habit. Its cascading growth fits naturally in hanging baskets, window boxes, and raised containers, bringing edible interest to patios and other sunny spaces.
Bright orange cherry tomatoes provide convenient, bite-sized harvests throughout the season. The compact form makes this plant a practical choice for small gardens or anywhere you want homegrown tomatoes without a traditional upright tomato cage.
About Proven Winners®: Proven Winners® ColorChoice Shrubs offers flowering shrubs, evergreens, and trees that have been tested for eight to ten years to ensure they outperform conventional varieties. Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Grow in a container with drainage holes using rich, well-draining potting mix. Place in full sun, ideally where it receives at least 6 to 8 hours of direct light daily. Move outdoors after frost danger has passed and temperatures are consistently warm.
2. Watering: Water deeply whenever the top inch of soil feels dry. Containers can dry quickly in warm weather, so check them often and maintain even moisture to support healthy growth and fruit development.
3. Pruning: Little pruning is needed. Remove yellow, damaged, or crowded leaves to improve airflow, but avoid heavy trimming that could reduce flowering and fruit production. Let stems trail naturally over the container.
4. Fertilizing: Feed regularly with a fertilizer formulated for tomatoes and other fruiting vegetables, following label directions. Avoid excessive nitrogen, which can encourage leafy growth at the expense of fruit.
