Bold foliage with elegant upright height
Large, fiddle-shaped leaves and a lush, upright silhouette bring rich greenery, elegant height, and timeless style to your home or office. Its columnar growth fits neatly into corners and other spaces where you want a strong vertical accent without a wide footprint.
Place it near a bright window with filtered light to support healthy, even growth. With consistent warmth and moderate care, it makes an impressive indoor focal point and adds natural structure to living rooms, offices, and entryways.
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Use a container with drainage holes and a well-draining indoor potting mix. Place in bright, indirect light away from cold drafts, heating vents, and harsh afternoon sun. Rotate the pot regularly for balanced growth.
2. Watering: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Soak the soil thoroughly, then let excess water drain completely. Avoid leaving the pot in standing water, as consistently soggy soil can damage the roots.
3. Pruning: Remove yellow, damaged, or crowded leaves with clean pruners. Trim stems in spring or early summer to control height and encourage branching, but avoid heavy pruning all at once.
4. Fertilizing: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted according to the label. Reduce or stop feeding during fall and winter when growth naturally slows.
